Setting up the Tee Box

Complete the following set up before the Online Tee Times Tournament training session. If you need any assistance with this please notify your Project Coordinator as soon as possible.

In order for Tournaments to work at least one Tee Box needs to be set up. To set up a Tee Box:
  1. Navigate to Tee Time Management -> Files -> Golf Course
  2. Select your Golf Course
  3. Click Course Setup in the right hand navigation
  1. Shotgun Starts - Hole Priority
    • ​Make sure that the Hole Assignments are set up for each hole
  2. Shotgun Starts - Hole Assignments
    • Max Groups Per Hole - set this to 1
      • Example: if the club allows more than one group to start at that hole, enter the number of groups allowed
  3. Click Add New Tee Box
   
  1. Configure the Tee Box settings:
    • Description: enter a description such as the course name or tee color
    • Designation: select the designation of either Men’s Tees, Women’s Tees or Both
    • Rating(s) and Slope(s): enter the rating(s) and slope(s). The fields available will be dependent on the designation selected
  2. Configure the Distances, Par Ratings, Handicap Ratings settings by clicking on the Edit button on the Right for the corresponding row: 
  • (Yards): click the Edit button for the (Yards) row
    1. Edit the Description (optional)
    2. Enter the Yardage for each hole
    3. Click OK
  • Men's Par / Women's Par: click the Edit button for the Par row applicable to the designation selected
    1. Edit the Description (optional)
    2. Enter the Par information for each hole
      • Fields cannot be left blank
      • The rating must be between 3 and 5
    3. Click OK
    4. Repeat the same steps if the designation is set for Both
  • Men's Handicap / Women's Handicap: click on the Edit button for the Handicap row applicable to the designation selected
    1. Edit the Description (optional)
    2. Enter the Handicap information for each hole
      • Fields cannot be left blank
      • Duplicate ratings cannot be set up
    3. Click Ok
    4. Repeat the same steps if the designation is set for Both

  1. Click OK in the Tee Boxes window
    • All information has to be entered in this window before the Tee Box Setup can be saved; a pop up will advise if any fields are incomplete
  2. Click OK in the Course Setup window which concludes the Tee Box Setup

To Edit the existing Tee Box

  • Double click on the row that has the Tee Box you want to edit
