Configuring Roster Approval Settings
Administrators and Members have the ability to submit updates to Roster Profiles. These submissions can ultimately be used to update the club's A/R system. Prior to the club's A/R system being updated all submissions must be pass an approval process. The Approval Settings of the Roster dictate how Roster Profile updates are to be handled.
Roster Approval
There are two approval methods that can be employed for Roster Profile updates:
Auto Approval
All Roster Profile updates submitted by a user are automatically approved and will subsequently update the club's A/R system. A Member will immediately be notified upon submission that their updates have been completed successfully. To activate Auto Approvals, check off the 'Auto Approve Roster Changes' box and click on Save at the top of the screeen.
Note: This method is not recommended as Administrators are not notified that updates were submitted and there is no way to track the updates that were completed.
Manual Approval
All Roster Profile submissions must be reviewed by an Administrator prior to updating the club's A/R system. When a member submits a Roster Profile update, an Approval Notification Email is sent to an Administrator(s) alerting them that their are submissions to be reviewed. To ensure that all Roster Approval updates are reveiwed first, leave the 'Auto Approve Roster Changes' box unchecked.
Approval Notification Email
If Manual Approvals have been configured for the Roster Approval process, at least one email address must be set to receieve the notification email that there are Roster Profile updates awaiting reveiew. Multiple email addresses can be entered if more than one recipient wishes to be notified. In to enter multiple email addresses in this field they will need to be seperated by a comma (,).
Ex. [email protected],[email protected]
Sender's Email Address
When the Approval Notification Email is sent to an Administrator or when an Roster Profile update is declined and a Notification is sent to the corresponding member, the email address entered in this field will dicatate who the e-mail is coming from.
Note: The Sender's Email Address will also be userd as the Reply-To address if a member chooses to reply to the notification.
