How to Set the Default Court Booking Length
When a member navigates to the Court Booking module, the default amount of time to play in each court type will be displayed in the Booking Length filter. Administrators can determine the default using the Default Booking Length for each court type. Members could still adjust it to the length they want to book. After the booking length is selected, only time blocks with the respective booking length will appear on the court scheduler.
How to access Default Landing Page configuration
- Login to Website with admin account
- Click on your name in top right corner
- Select Switch to Club Central
- Click Court Reservation Application
- Select Default Settings in Left navigation
- Go to Default Booking Length section
Default Booking Length
Each Activity Type (Tennis, Pickleball etc.) will have its own section with court types (Grass Court, Indoor Hardcourt etc...) listed. If any of the activity types and court types are not connected correctly, login to JAM/Encore Courts to make changes.
Select the default amount of time members usually book for each Court Type.
Note: A member can still choose a shorter or longer booking length depending on what the Minimum and Maximum Time slots have been configured as in JAM/Encore Courts > Court Types
Fixed Time
Court Types can be set up with a Fixed schedule in JAM/Encore Courts. This means that the court can only be booked for the set length and the member has no other choice.
If it was set up as fixed schedule in JAM/Encore Courts, the Court Type will appear in the Default Booking Length section with the word Fixed in a greyed out box and cannot be edited.
To make changes to the fixed schedule, log in to JAM/Encore Courts - Court types.
On the live site members will not see the Booking Length filter when viewing court types set up with a fixed schedule on the Court Scheduler.
