How to Set the Default Court Type
When a member navigates to the Court Booking module, the default Court Type and Times to Display filters will be displayed. Administrators can configure the defaults using the options found in Default Selections.
The most popular court type can be displayed with the common booking length, making the booking process quicker for members. Members could change the filters at anytime to customize their search.
How to access Default Selections configuration
- Login to Website with admin account
- Click on your name in top right corner
- Select Switch to Club Central
- Click Court Reservation Application
- Select Default Settings in Left navigation
- Go to Default Selections section
Default Sport/Court Type
Within JAM/Encore, each Court Type is attached to an Activity Type and it will appear on the website as Activity Type - Court Type for members to choose from under the Court Types Dropdown box. The Default Sport/Court Type online will allow administrators to select which court type is most popular and have it defaulted as soon as members land on the court scheduler page. Administrators can change this at anytime/seasonally to reflect what's most popular at the club.
Ex. Activity Type (Tennis) - Court Type (Indoor Hardcourt) was defaulted. As a result, Tennis - Indoor Hardcourt will already be selected as soon as a member lands on the Court Booking page. See image above.
Default Time to Display
Determine what court times you would like members to see as soon as they land on the court scheduler.
Only Available = Shows time blocks that are still available
- Use this option if the club is choosing to hide names
All Times = All times for the date starting with the first court time
- This includes times that are available, booked (names displayed if enabled) and not available
Morning = First court booking time set by the club up to 12:00pm
Afternoon = Show available times from 11:00am to 6:00pm
Evening = Show available times starting at 5:00pm to close
Sports/Court Type Order
In the Court Types dropdown filter the order of the Court Types can be controlled with the Sports/Court Type Order option.
Click and drag the court type to change order.
Once you are satisfied with the settings you have configured in this area click on the Save button at the top to confirm the changes.
