How to Delete a Page
There a two methods that will allow you to delete a page on your site. When a page is deleted it is placed in your Recycle Bin in the event you would need to restore it. The two methods that are available for deleting pages are, using the Delete button and using Listing Mode.
Delete Button
The Delete button will allow you to delete a page that you have selected within your Content Tree. Selecting a parent page will allow you to delete all the child pages as well. Here are the steps to delete a page in your Content Tree utilizing the Delete button:
- From your Content Tree, select the page you wish to delete.
- Located just above the Content Tree, click on the 'Trash Bin' (Delete) button.
- You will be provided with the following two options to accomodate your deletion:
- Destroy page and its history (page cannot be restored) - This option will prevent the page from being placed in your recycle bin and permanently delete the page.
- Display alternate page when vistors access the deleted page - This option will allow you to specify a page to redirect visitors to if they have bookmarked the link to the page your are deleting. To activate follow these steps:

- Check off the box for Display alternate page when visitors access the deleted page
- From the additional parameters displayed, select the page to redirect visitors to in the 'Replacement page' section
- Check off the box for Copy all paths
- If you are sure this is the page you wish to delete click Yes to the confirmation prompt.
Once you have clicked Yes to the prompt, the Content Tree will be refreshed and the page will no longer be visible.
Listing Mode
The Listing Mode allows to display all pages beneath a parent page. From here you will be able to specify which individual pages you wish to delete as well as deleting multiple pages simultaneously. Here are the steps to delete pages from your Content Tree utilizing the Listing Mode:
- Located just above the Content Tree, select the Listing tab.
- From the Content Tree on the left, select a parent page.
Note: If you wish to delete multiple pages that are located in the Root of your content tree, you will need to select the Root page which is labeled by the name of your club.
- Once you have selected the page, all of the child pages nested beneath will be visible in the Content Area on the right.
- Check the box next to each page you wish to delete.
- Change the select an action drop down to Delete and click OK
- The delete confirmation screen will provide you a list of pages that will be deleted, as well as the following two options:
