How to Register for an Event

Once a member has logged into the website they can register for an event, as long as the registration is still open.

4 Steps to Register for an Event

  1. Search and click on event name
  2. View Event Details and click Register in the top right corner
  3. Add Registrants, notes or answer additional questions (if these options are available for an event)
  4. Complete booking - on screen check mark with Booking Completed will display

Details for these 4 steps

1. Search Event Name box

  • As the event name is typed, only events with a match will display
  • Click on event name to see details

2. View Event Details and click Register in the top right corner

  • Registration opens "Month date and time" will display if registration has not opened for the event
  • Add To Wait List will display if the event is popular and a wait list has been set up
  • Registration Closed will display if the event registration date and time has passed and no longer accepting registrations
  • no text displayed in the top right corner, if the event has no registration, it has been created as an information only event

 

3. Add Registrants, notes or answer additional questions (if these options are available for an event)

By clicking on Register, the options to add another registrant, notes and answer questions will be available before completing the registration.

Adding named registrants

There are 3 options that can be setup for named registrants. Clubs can choose to remove all 3 options if members are to register themselves only.
  • Add Member - opens a search list to find other members at the club to be added to the booking
  • Add Guest - first and last name is required to add the guest successfully, email address is optional 
  • Add Buddies & Groups - member can access their favorite members or guest that they had setup using the Manage Buddies and Groups section

Adding Unnamed Registrants

Members/Guests unnamed
  • Members would use the plus or minus sign to indicate the number of registrants in the booking
  • This section is only available for clubs that are using the Online Calendar to make a registration with a head count of the number of people they would like to bring without having to know the names of each person attending.
  • Clubs set up with Integrated events will not have this option. Each registrant in the booking must have a name.

Notes box

Requests/Notes (Optional): this box is available for members to add requests to communicate with staff at the club. This box cannot be removed

Continue/Complete (displayed on the top right corner or under Notes box.)

  • Complete button will display if no other questions are required to register for the event. Click to complete the registration.
  • Continue button will display if the club has created additional questions for members to answer for a particular event.
    • Booking Preferences
      • These questions are asked once for the entire party (all the registrants), option to make questions required
      • Only available for clubs using online calendar
      • Clubs set up with Integrated events will not have the option to set up booking preference questions
    • Personal Preferences
      • Question(s) will be asked for each named registrant (members and guests), option to make questions required


 

4.Complete booking

The Booking Completed check mark will display after Complete button has been clicked on.
Member is now registered for the event and if email confirmations have been enabled all registrants with a valid email address will receive the email confirmation.
The Booking Completed screen displays the event details and confirmation number on the left and on the right are options member can use to manage the booking.
