JCM Menu Group Setup

The Menu Setup within an Outlet is used to setup and maintain the selected outlet’s Menu Groups & Menu Items Setups. The Outlet Setup screen provides access to two sections for the Menu setup:

• Menu Group Setup - This section will allow you to create your groups and provides you with the list of all available Sales Items (or Menu Group Items) that can be purchased within the Sales Area that is linked to this Outlet..
• Menu Display Order - This pane will allow you to organize your Menu Groups and Items as you wish them to appear on the Outlet's menu Online. Items can be drag and dropped in the order desired.

Encore Menu Setup

The Menu Setup within an Outlet is used to setup and maintain the selected outlet’s Menu Groups & Menu Items Setups. From the Outlet Setup screen, click on the Edit Menu Setup button. The setup form has 3 main column sections:

• Sales Items Available for Menu Design -  Provides you with the list of all available Sales Items (or Menu Group Items) that can be purchased within the Sales Area that is linked to this Outlet. Items that have already been added to the menu, display in grey, while items that are not included, display in white.
• Menu Design/Display Order - This pane enables you to create your groups and modify your Outlet's menu. Use right-click commands or the Toolbar buttons to add Menu Groups and Sales Items to your design.
• Preview Outlet Menu Setup - This provides you a preview of how your menu will display online based on the changes made in the Menu Design / Display Order pane.

Toolbar Buttons

• Menu Group – Select this option to set up a new Menu Group. Outlet menu items will be grouped together and presented in your desired display order.
  • Example: Pool Snack Bar
    •  Menu Group 1: Appetizers
      • Menu Items: Garlic bread, Corn Soup, Salade Nicoise, Mediterranean Salad, etc.
    •  Menu Group 2: Beverages
      • Menu Items: Arizona Ice Tea, Latte, Espresso etc.
• Ungroup – Select this option to remove a selected Menu Group and Menu Group Items.
• Edit Selected – Select this option to edit the selected Menu Group or Menu Group Item.
• Clear Grouping – Select this option to remove all Menu Groups and items from the menu design.
• Reset to Default – Select this option if you wish to create Menu Groups and Menu Items for ALL Sales Items Available for Menu Design with Menu Groups from their Sales Item Categories. This would be a useful option to use if you had already configured a POS Sales Area for your take out orders; using this button would clone that structure for Online Ordering.
• Hide Items/Preview - Use these buttons to give yourself more screen space to work on your design for the Outlet.
