JCM Outlet General Settings

If you are in the process of creating a new Outlet or looking to edit the settings of an existing one within JCM, the following information will help you configure and/or adjust those settings accordingly. 

General Settings

The General Settings are of the Outlet Setup consists of the Outlet Status, Partition and Sales Area settings.

Status

The Status setting determines whether or not the Outlet is active or inactive. Inactive Outlets will not appear online regardless of their Outlet Schedule setup.

Partition

If your club operates under multiple partitions, you will need to ensure the correct one is selected as your Sales Areas are associated with a specific Partition. Only Sales Items created within those Sales Areas will be available when configuring the Menu Group Setup . If you're unsure about your Sales Area setup or are looking to make changes to it, please engage your club's JCM Administrator prior to making changes. Sales Area

As mentioned, the Sales Areas made available to the Outlet Setup, are based on the Partition that is associated with the Outlet. When configuring the Menu Setup, the available Sales Items will be based on the Sales Area selected here.

Online Configurations

The Online Configurations section of the Outlet setup consists of the following options to be configured:

Display Order

The Display Order field will allow you to dictate in what order a particular Outlet will appear on the club's website and in their mobile app. The lowest number of all the Outlets is the one that will appear first online.
  1. Enter in a number in the Display Order field
  2. Click OK to save the change
  3. Select the Outlet again
  4. Review the Display Order List to see the order the Outlet will appear in.

Display Order List

Click on the Display Order List button to see a list of Outlets and their corresponding Display Order designations. The List will display all Outlets regardless of Partitions in the order they will appear online. In order to change the order of the Outlets, you will need to adjust their Display Order number.

Image Folder

The Image Folder path that is listed here, is where all the menu item images will be stored. Since the Online Ordering module communicates directly with your server, folder will need to be located on your club's server. The path listed here will be in a UNC format.

Image

This is the image that will be associated with the Outlet. Usually an image of the actual Outlet itself or the type of items sold at this particular Outlet. This image will appear online next to the Online Label and will cropped in the center of the image to the following dimensions:

  • 89 px Width
  • 150 px Height

To avoid thie image being from being cropped, please edit the image intended to the outlet to the aforementioned dimensions.

Ex. 

Online Label

This is the name of the Outlet that will pear online next to the Outlet image and the Outlet Schedule.

Note: The Description text area within the Online Configurations section is not configured to be displayed online at this time. This area can be left blank.

Other Settings

The Other Settings section of the Outlet Setup consists of the following parameters to be configured:

Order Types

The Order Types and the order they are stated dictate how Online Orders should be prepared. The available options are as follows:
  • Eat In
  • To Go
  • Pick Up
  • Delivery
The first Order Type listed will be the Default Order Type. If Outlet is configured to have Orders Go Directly to Printers, the Default Order Type is what will be used always. If the Outlet is configured to send Online Orders to Online Ordering Queue, then the staff member will have the opportunity to change the Order Type prior to sending the order to the Kitchen.

Orders Go Directly To Printers

This checkbox controls whether Orders Go Directly To Printers or they are sent to the Online Ordering Queue to be reviewed by Staff prior to be sent to the Kitchen. For more information on Order Processing click on the button to the bottom right.

Restrict If Over Credit Limit

With this option enabled, JCM will check a member's setup when they attempt to submit an order and verify if they have credit limit. If the member has surpassed the limit or this order will push their account balance past the limit, the order will not be processed and the member will be presented with the following message:

Chits User ID

The user specified here is utilized for Orders that Go Directly To Printers. This User will be identified as the creator of the CHIT for all Online Orders processed through this particular Outlet. If the Outlet is configured to send orders to the Online Ordering Queue, the user who sends the order to the Kitchen will be listed as the creator of the CHIT.

Menu Group Default

This option will allow you to dictate if the Menu Groups should appear online in of the following methods:

Collapsed

When 

Do Not Display Price

This option will prevent all menu item prices from being displayed. When unchecked the price listed in POS for a particular sales item is what will be displayed online.

Menu Group Setup

The Menu Group Setup is where the menu items and prep items that will be associated with this Outlet online will be configured. For more information on setting up the Outlet Menu, click on the button to the bottom right.

Scheduling

The Scheduling setup is what controls when the Outlet is available to take orders online. For more information on setting up the Outlet Schedule, click on the button to the bottom right.

Order Emailed To

The Order Emailed To menu allows to add email address of Staff that you would like to be notified when an order has been placed online. This feature is used exclusively with an outlet that has been configured to use the Online Order Queue. For more information on the Online Order Queue setup, click on the button to the bottom right.

Encore Outlet General Settings

General Settings

The General Settings for each Outlet will dictate how that Outlet is displayed and operates for members online. The configurable options in this section are as follows:

Active

The Active checkbox determines whether or not the Outlet is active or inactive. Inactive Outlets will not appear online regardless of their Outlet Schedule setup.

Sales Area

 As your Sales Items are associated with a specific Sales Area, only Sales items associated within the Sales Areas selected will be available for the Outlet Menu Setup. If you're unsure about your Sales Area setup or are looking to make changes to it, please engage your club's Encore Administrator prior to making changes. If further assistance is required please reach out to our Support Team.

Online Display Order

The Display Order field will allow you to dictate in what order a particular Outlet will appear on the club's website and in their mobile app. The lowest number of all the Outlets is the one that will appear first online.
  1. Enter in a number in the Online Display Order field.
  2. Click Save from the toolbar above.

Online Label

This is the name of the Outlet that will pear online next to the Outlet image and the Outlet Schedule.

Note: The Online Description Field is not configured to be displayed online at this time. This field can be left blank.

User

The user specified here is utilized for Orders that Go Directly To Printers. This User will be identified as the creator of the CHIT for all Online Orders processed through this particular Outlet. If the Outlet is configured to send orders to the Online Ordering Queue, the user who sends the order to the Kitchen will be listed as the creator of the CHIT.

To ensure your image is displayed correctly online please ensure the following guidelines are adhered to in Encore:

  • Image Size: 150 x 150 pixels
  • Max Image File Size: 500 kB

Outlet Menu Setup

The Outlet Menu Setup allows you to create Online Menus using your already existing Point of Sale items including Item names, descriptions, photos (if available and prices. For information on adding menu and prep items click the button below.

Scheduling

Order Email Notifications

The Order Email Notifications menu allows a user to add email addresses of the staff that you will be notified when an order has been placed online. This feature is used exclusively with an outlet that has been configured to use the Online Order Queue. For more information on the Online Order Queue setup, click on the button to the bottom right.
