Activity Management
The Turn Rates that are setup in Activity Management are used as a guideline for the amount of time a particular party size will occupy a table from the moment they are seated till the moment they leave. Even though a particular Turn Rate is setup for a particular Party Size, Activity Management will allow you to override that setting to complete the reservations. This is not the case for the Online Dining module as it must follow these turn rates exclusively with no exceptions.
A single Turn Rate must be set up and will cover all party sizes that your Dining Tables will accommodate. Each Party Size will have an associated Turn Rate Time associated with it. The Turn Rate Time is listed in minutes and the general rule of thumb is that the larger the party size the higher the Turn Rate Time is set.
Note: Ensure smaller Party Sizes have lower Turn Rates to allow for maximum availability online.
Encore
